Big Bend Ranch State Park has announced that the park will be closed on the following dates in October, November, December and January for wildlife management activities…

According to local park managers, the only areas that will actually be closed are the areas shown in red on the map below.

Only drawn permitted hunters will be allowed in during these dates. Contact the park for more information.

*From 6 p.m. Dec. 14 until 8 a.m. Dec. 19, 2014 
*From 6 p.m. Jan. 11 until 8 a.m. Jan. 16, 2015 
*From 6 p.m. Jan. 25 until 8 a.m. Jan. 30, 2015

Notes from DESERT SPORTS: Mountain bikers and hikers will have access on the Contrabando Trail System and the Rincon Loop/Lower Fresno Canyon Area. The IMBA Epic route will NOT be available during these closures.
