Rental Rates

Item Rates Notes
Canoes $50 for day 1; $45 each additional day;
$30 each additional day after 7 days		 All boat rentals include life jackets and paddles.

Inflatables (rafts and kayaks) also include a patch kit and pump.
Rafts $30 per person per day (minimum of 3 persons per raft)
$425 for 5-7 days; $50 each additional day after 7 days
Inflatable Kayaks 1-person kayak $40 per day
2-person kayak $50 per day
Mountain Bikes $35 a day; $150 for 5-7 days; $20 each day after 7 days.
Special rates for guided tour participants at $30 a day.		 Bike rentals include a helmet, two water bottles, and everything to fix a flat.

Shuttle Rates

Custom shuttles available for hikers, bikers, and river runners. If you are late for your put-in OR take-out there will be a $25 per hour late charge.

River Permits

Permits are required on all river trips. State Park permits are available at the Barton Warnock Center. Please note that National Park permits are $10 for any multi-day trip. One-day permits ONLY are available from Desert Sports: multi-day permits are obtained from the National Park Visitor Centers or Iron Rangers (self-permitting system) at the Barton Warnock Center and Persimmon Gap, where your receipt from your pay envelope is your validation.

Park User Fees

Big Bend Ranch State Park (Tapado to Lajitas): $3/person per day, plus camping fees; payable to BBRSP.

Big Bend National Park (Lajitas to Dryden Crossing): $20/vehicle per week; payable to BBNP.
